By downloading or using the My Books app (referred as app or application or maker(s) of app below), these terms will automatically apply to you-

You agree to display the content/data collected via the app publicly in the app and/or website and/or our social media pages and you agree to use it for the promortional purpose.

You certify that you own all rights to the content that you upload or that you are authorized by the owner to make the content publicly available on the application. The maker(s) of the app will not be liable for any copyright violation of the user uploaded content.

You agree not to use (or encorage the use of) any abusive/communal/indecent/political/reliogious language (as comment or content or as part of any feature) in the app. If found, your account will be blocked from the app with immediate effect, and further your content (posted by you or by others on your behalf) will not be available to anyone in the app. The maker(s) of the app will not be liable for any such activities from any users.

The opinions/comments made by users in this app are purely their personal opinion/view. The maker(s) of the app will not be liable for them.

You agree not to share your personal informations with other users in the app. The user will be the only responsible person for any issue happening due to such activities.

The maker(s) of the app hold the right to remove the content posted by the users at anytime without prior notice, if found inappropriate, and such decisions will be final.

We are offering you this app to use for your own use, and you’re not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions.

All copyrights of books belong to their respective owners. Contents owned by others are used here under the guidelines of fair use provisions of Indian Copyright Law.

Competitions

The app may conduct competition which will have it's own conditions for the participants along with the following generic terms and guidelines:

• The Competition is intended for registered users of our app.
• Participants should submit original content. By entering, you confirm the work is your own.
• Submissions must not contain harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
• Each participant must follow the instructions shared on the competition page for submitting their entry.
• There is no guarantee of selection or reward, and submission does not imply entitlement to any benefit.
• By submitting content, participants allow us to display or promote the work on our platform or associated channels without claiming ownership.
• This is purely for appreciation and platform visibility and does not create a legal obligation for compensation or continued use.
• Entries may be reviewed by a panel or team appointed by the app organizers. The panel's decision will be final, and we are not required to offer any explanation or justification for the outcome. Participation in the competition does not guarantee winning or recognition.
• Any rewards or recognition (if announced) will be shared at our discretion. We are not legally liable to provide cash or material compensation. Rewards are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at any time without notice.
• We are not responsible for technical glitches, delayed submissions, or any issues beyond our control. This competition is meant for engagement and creative expression; it does not create any legal relationship or enforceable rights between the organizers and participants.
• Any personal information submitted will be handled as per our general privacy practices and not used for unrelated purposes. Winners or selected entries may be highlighted publicly for appreciation.
• Participation in this competition is entirely voluntary. The app and its organizers are not legally responsible for any claims, losses, or disputes arising from participation. These competition guidelines are meant to promote fair play and are not enforceable as legal terms.

Subscription & Billing

Ad-Free Subscription Plan - We may offer an optional paid subscription that removes in-app advertisements from thid party ad nwtworks. The subscription is billed through the Google Play Store and is subject to Google’s terms. By subscribing, you agree to the pricing, billing cycle, and auto-renewal terms shown at the time of purchase.

Auto-Renewal and Cancellation - Unless otherwise specified, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription anytime via your Google Play account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time.

In-App Purchases - We may offer additional in-app purchases (IAPs). These will be handled via the Google Play Store and governed by the applicable pricing and terms presented at the time of purchase.

Promotional Offers and Trials - From time to time, we may provide promotional offers, including free trials or discounted subscription periods. These offers are available at our sole discretion and may be subject to eligibility criteria. Unless canceled before the end of the promotional period, subscriptions will automatically convert to the standard paid plan at the then-current rate. You can manage or cancel any offer-based subscription via your Google Play account settings. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional offers at any time.

External Product Links - The app may display links to third-party products, services, or content. Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click on them or make a purchase through them. These are provided either for reference, editorial relevance, or as part of collaborations with writers, publishers, or content partners. These links (or any related content, banners, etc.) are not considered advertisements and will continue to appear regardless of subscription status. We do not guarantee or take responsibility for the quality, accuracy, or fulfillment of any third-party offerings.

Refunds - All purchases are final. Refunds, if applicable, will follow Google Play's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

We built the My Books app to offer both a free, ad-supported experience and an optional paid subscription plan that removes ads. This SERVICE is provided by us either at no cost with advertisements or via subscription without advertisements, and is intended for use as is.
